LIMITED WARRANTY
The following is made in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied.
UV Curing Products manufactured by HIDUV are warrantied against "manufacturing defects" for a period of 1 (one) year from date of original shipment. Products distributed by HIDUV carry the warranty of the original manufacturer. Items provided under OEM agreements may not be covered by this "Limited Warranty" and may contain special clauses.
HIDUV shall replace or repair at its discretion, any part exclusive of labor to diagnose, remove and install, which upon examination by HIDUV, is determined to be defective in material or workmanship, providing such claimed defective material is, upon written authorization, returned to HIDUV or an Authorized Service Center, freight pre-paid. HIDUV will pay surface freight charges for goods shipped to replace items which have been determined by HIDUV to be defective and under warranty.
All electrical commercial supply parts and items not manufactured by HIDUV shall carry the warranty of the original manufacturer and no more, but under no circumstances to exceed the "Limited Warranty".
All lighting systems, both HIDUV branded (Megalume®) and OEM, require the use of original HIDUV lamps. If alternate or substitute lamps, not previously approved by HIDUV, are used, the "Limited Warranty" will become void.
Consumable items such as filters, gaskets, rubber parts, and wheels are not covered under this "Limited Warranty". Lamps and replacement parts shall be warrantied for a period of 90 days.
Warranty labor shall only apply if the machine, assembly, or part is returned to the HIDUV or Authorized Service Center freight pre-paid and insured.
HIDUV assumes no responsibility for losses of material, labor, production time, any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential resulting from the operation of, or use, or the inability to use the product other than specifically covered in this "Limited Warranty".
Damage or breakage through misuse or whil in-transit is not covered by this "Limited Warranty".
All claims against the "Limited Warranty" shall be the final determiniation of HID Ultraviolet, LLC.
